This blog was created for you to share with others the person who has made a difference in your life. Healthy Youth Development will post the stories on this page for the public to read.

Healthy Youth Development is an initiative in Erie County to infuse the community with the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets. The Search Institute has done extensive research that shows the more Assets a youth has the less likely they are to take part in risky behavior. Our Vision is that all children, youth, and adults are thriving and productive, creating diverse and successful communities. Our mission is that Healthy Youth Development activates communities to create healthy, caring and responsible individuals by promoting developmental assets, the building blocks of healthy youth development.
